A 46-year-old Defence Security Corps (DSC) personnel allegedly left his duty point at Air Force Station, Aya Nagar, with a magazine containing 20 live rounds, prompting a PCR call, police said on Wednesday (September 16, 2026).The incident took place on Tuesday (September 15, 2026) when a constable, posted at the Air Force station, left his duty point around 7.50 pm and returned at about 9:15 pm, depositing the loaded magazine at his designated duty point, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Anant Mittal said.During an inquiry, it was found that he had left early after consuming alcohol, police said.Appropriate action is being taken by the concerned authorities, they added.
