Sign in to your How-To Geek account While you can easily find a decent sale on DeWalt gear on Amazon, what you won't see too often is a good discount on its high-performance batteries, like its 20V Max XR Powerpack options—let alone a meaningful markdown on the powerful 4Ah models. Luckily, right now is one of those times, as this amped-up battery is 60% off during Prime Big Deal Days (but it's selling out fast). DeWalt 4Ah 20V Max XR Powerpack Battery $68 $169 Save $101 If you're looking for the perfect DeWalt battery, this insanely powerful 4Ah 20V Max XR Powerpack is the way to go, giving you up to 50% more performance. Now with a savings of $101, it's a must-have. This powerful 4Ah 20V battery is now $101 off But the sale ends soon Most DIYers know that you can never have too many batteries around the home or your work site, which is why having extras and backups on hand is always a smart idea, and combined with a discount this good, it's also a smart idea to grab this battery, which is a mere $68 right now on Amazon. If you live and breathe in the DeWalt ecosystem, at a price this low, you may just want to grab a few of these bad boys. The big selling point here is that this Powerpack battery comes in a more powerful 4Ah output and that is thanks to DeWalt's tabless cell technology, which delivers up to 50% more power than its other basic 20V batteries. And though it doesn't necessarily make your drill spin 50% faster or run 50% longer, it does increase its overall longevity, which means you won't have to replace it as fast as traditional batteries. Another neat feature on this battery is the handy LED light indicator, which allows you to better monitor its battery life left per change, which ensures your saw won't cut out mid-cut, which is less than ideal. Even as powerful as this battery is, it is also much slimmer than basic model versions, too, which can make working in tighter spaces that much easier. Plus, it comes with a rubber base pad that helps protect it from bumps and scratches and improves its grip on any surface. One thing to point out about this deal is that it only includes the 4Ah battery and does not include a charger or stand, so you will need an appropriate charger and stand to recharge it once the battery is dead. For DeWalt owners, saving over $100 on powerful batteries is a no-brainer, but you will need to act fast, as Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days ends today, Oct. 7.
