Cyberpunk 2077: All Is Lost Officially Announced

The sheer number of projects, from the impressive crossover event with Wuthering Waves to the plethora of novel and comic book adaptations, is astounding, with each one faithfully capturing the spirit and tone of the TTRPG and video game while adding something new and genuinely transformative to the lore and overall experience. CD Projket Red's magnum opus is set to get several more experiences in the coming months, with a brand-new Cyberpunk 2077 game launching in 2027. However, long before that, there are a few smaller projects scheduled to release, all of which will truly showcase the best aspects of Cyberpunk 2077 in a new light. One of these is Cyberpunk 2077: All is Lost, a stunning new release that is sure to delight fans and endear them to the even bigger project it is a small part of. The upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 TCG is one of the many aforementioned multimedia projects releasing in the coming months. Developed by WeirdCo, this may be one of the most exciting releases for the game, with its original Kickstarter reaching its funding goal in just five minutes. It earned $28,353,088 across 50,773 backers by the time the funding period ended, a staggering amount that clearly indicates the TCG will have a strong start at the very least. Once the funding goal was reached, WeirdCo began showcasing cards and their art to fans, including All is Lost. This is just one of the many cards available in the game, many of which will be playable during the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 TCG Beta event, and is a perfect illustration of both the care and effort debut studio WeirdCo has poured into the game, and also how it is faithfully portraying the bleak nature of the cyberpunk world it's adapting. Cyberpunk 2077: All is Lost's beautiful art, which depicts two hands holding one another amidst a pile of trash, comes from celebrated artist Fabrizio De Tommaso, who most notably worked on the Cyberpunk 2077 comic book, XOXO. The card itself allows players to trash 3 cards and add a Unit from among them back into their hand, ostensibly gaining an advantage over their opponent should the play work out. It's a fun mechanic, one that will likely see a lot of play, but will be most beloved thanks to its gorgeous card art. While All is Lost may not be the DLC announcement or brand-new game that many might have been hoping for, it is yet another great look at the upcoming TCG and everything it has to offer. While a lot of trading card games come and go, with more failing than succeeding, Cyberpunk 2077's version has a genuine chance of succeeding, both thanks to stunning cards like All is Lost, and because of the IP it is based on. At the very least, it is likely to offer a lot of dedicated Cyberpunk 2077 fans hours upon hours of fun.
