The Indian Army shot down a suspected Pakistani surveillance drone in the Khour sector of Jammu after it was found hovering near vital defence installations close to Chakla village, officials said.The drone, believed to be of Chinese origin, had allegedly been modified for surveillance operations. Army personnel recovered the drone along with a 64 GB microSD card from the site.Officials said the drone was brought down during a security operation after it entered a sensitive area near defence establishments. The recovered equipment has been sent for forensic examination.Preliminary investigations suggest the drone was being used for reconnaissance activities.
