Champion trainer Dan Skelton provides three horses to follow in upcoming National Hunt season

WE’RE on the brink of the new National Hunt season and as a result champion trainer Dan Skelton has exclusively told SunSport three horses worth following this campaign. Skelton, who is keen to defend his championship title, could have suggestions worth following in the 2025-26 season. The step up from 2m to 2m4f seemed to bring about improvement and Albie Littlewood will be switched to fences in the new season. A Sight To Sea Skelton: “We have a good few Irish point-to-pointers that are new to us, A Sight To Sea, I think he’s a nice horse – one of the less obvious ones.” Owned by Stephen Bough, who also has Pony Soprano in Skelton’s stable, this five-year-old will be looking to make his mark in this upcoming debut season. Dubai Armani Skelton: “I think we have a very nice juvenile called Dubai Armani. He’ll be very unknown.” Juvenile gelding Dubai Armani has one win from one career run after victory at Sable-Sur-Sarthe in April this year, before joining the champion trainer’s stable. Considered a lovely juvenile by Skelton, who says the gelding will make a chaser in time.
