INQUIRER FILES CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Police arrested the fourth-most wanted person at the city level in Calapan City during an operation in Barangay Guinobatan on Monday. The suspect, whose identity was withheld pending court proceedings, was arrested by operatives of the Calapan City Police Station on the strength of a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 40 in Calapan City for the charge of frustrated murder. The court set bail at P200,000 for the suspect’s temporary release. Carragayan in coordination with the 404th Brigade Mobile Company of the Regional Force Mobile Battalion 4B and the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company. Police said the suspect is now under the custody of the Calapan City Police Station while awaiting turnover to the issuing court. Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office Director Col. Edison V. Revita said the arrest reflects the provincial police’s continuing campaign against wanted persons. “We will continue to locate and arrest wanted persons to uphold justice and help keep our communities safe.
