Breaking: 'ISIS bride' accused of owning slave denied bail for second time

A woman accused of owning a slave while supporting Islamic State in Syria has had her second bail attempt denied.It is alleged Zeinab Ahmad "mistreated" a Yazidi teenager and ordered her to do household chores, after the girl was purchased as slave by Ms Ahmad's father in 2017.Zeinab Ahmad had her bail application denied in June, and the Victorian Court of Appeal has upheld that decision.In denying bail, Justice James Elliott found Ms Ahmad posed an "unacceptable risk" if released, and her custody conditions reflect the nature of the charges.
