Despite several resuscitation attempts, the woman was sadly pronounced dead at 5.17am due to severe blood loss. 'Once in the street, she called for help before collapsing,' a source close to the case explained, according to Le Parisien.'According to statements gathered from the mother, no one else was present in the apartment at the time of the tragedy,' the source added. The boy reportedly confessed to the crime, with Le Parisien reporting that he said: 'Yes, it's me. I don't want to go to prison. I don't want you to put my mother in prison, I defended my mum.'The mother was taken into custody, and the boy was taken to hospital.The public prosecutor and the Departmental Service of the Judicial Police are now conducting the necessary investigations into the circumstances of the crime.The child is scheduled to be questioned, local media reports.
