EXCLUSIVE: Thai studio GDH has announced that Billkin Putthipong Assaratanakul will star in its feature film project, The Untitled Snooker Project, in the role of a professional snooker player. The film, scheduled for theatrical release in late 2027, will be directed by Wattanapong ‘Jack’ Wongwan, whose credits include the hit Netflix series The Believers. It will be produced by Vanridee Pongsittisak, producer of the global hit Bad Genius; Oscar-shortlisted box office hit How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies, and recent hit Gohan, alongside Baz Poonpiriya, producer of Gohan and Not Friends. One of Thailand’s biggest actors and recording artists, Billkin also starred in How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies, which was shortlisted for Best International Feature at the 97th Academy Awards and grossed around $74M worldwide.
