Three weeks ago, I was highly complimentary of Larian Studios about the quality and cadence of the console content drops it had been releasing for the console version of Baldur's Gate 3. At the end of July, it added the ability for players to reach level 40, Aylin and Isobel as full, playable party members, and a bunch of new Druid Wildshapes, including a Raptor, Spider, Boar, Owlcat, Wolf, Rabbit, and Rat. At the start of August, it got a version of the Shadow of Mordor Nemesis System. Then nothing happened for three weeks. Thankfully, it seems that hiatus is over, as Larian has returned, adding 20 new pieces of content for Baldur's Gate 3 console players to dive into. Baldur's Gate 3 Console Version Gets New Subclass, Enemy Changes, And New Arcana And Gunslinger Classes ba As much as I jest, the fact that Larian is still supporting the console version of Baldur's Gate 3 years later is fantastic. Sure, it's not getting as many mods as the PC version, but the company still regularly vets, approves, and uploads this user-created content to the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game. The latest drop includes 20 pieces of content, and we've detailed them all below for you: BFR: Wild Shapes Bonus Abilities - Changes original extra Wild Shape abilities to cost a Bonus Action instead of a regular Action. Enemy HP Boost 250% (Honour Mode) - Boosts enemy HP by 250 percent in Honour Mode. Warlock Multiclass Spell Slots Fix - Fixes Spellcasting for multiclass Warlocks. Eternal Trap Disarm Kit - Adds a magical kit that allows you to disarm traps using Sleight of Hand. Can be used indefinitely and will never break. More Weapons By Guigodead - Adds a range of new weapons including Macuahuitl, Hookswords, Khopesh, Daggers, Javelins, and Warhammers. Invisi-bee Heads: Head B For Body Type 2 - Ports Head B to BT2. Tutorial Quick Exit - Allows you to skip the Nautiloid tutorial, freeing all available characters. Red Dragon Subrace - Adds a humanoid subrace based on Red Dragons. Completely immune to fire and can turn into a Red Dragon. Described as "completely OP and breaks the balance because you cannot balance a gigantic lizard as a main character." More Short Rests - Allows you to short rest more than twice per day. Pooldripp Evolved - Recruit Kuo-toa High Priest Pooldripp to camp and gain the ability to summon him. Gab's Equipment - Adds over 100 weapons, armour, and accessories. Fade's Randomized Early Equipment - Adds a chest to the Nautiloid with randomized, balanced starting gear. DOS2 Sebille's Armor - Camp cloth with Sebille's armor style. The Gunslinger Class - Adds the Gunslinger class plus subclasses from Valdas Spire of Secrets DnD 5.5e expansion anew. Gunslinger Extra Feats Every 2 Levels - Add-on for the Gunslinger class, adding an extra feat every two levels. Sassy Face: New Heads - Adds three new sassy preset heads. Arcana Class - Adds an Arcana class that "wields the raw essence of existence." Vengeance - Adds Vengeance armor to the game. Vampiric Head Pack - Adds a range of vampiric heads for elves, half-elves, drow, humans, tiefling, gnome, halfling, and dwarves. Elven Head Pack - Adds a range of preset heads. While not quite as game-changing as the last two drops, there's still plenty for players to dive into here. The two new classes legitimately seem like a lot of fun, and the Red Dragon subclass seems like the perfect way to blitz through the game. I'm in.
