Dallas’s vibrant Knox Street is getting a new neighbor. Auberge Collection is debuting a new hotel right in the heart of the bustling district, perched along the scenic, tree-lined Katy Trail for prime access to all the city has to offer. Aptly named the Knox, the property is now officially accepting reservations ahead of its opening early next year—and Robb Report got an exclusive first look at what you can expect to find behind its front door. For its latest venture, Auberge tapped the famed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio to bring its interiors and its 140 rooms and suites to life. And the firm tapped into the Knox’s surrounding greenery in its design: Rooms are lined with vibrant greens and bold, animal-printed wallpaper in golden hues. Those rich orange and green colors extend into the bathroom, where eye-catching greens line the mirrors and warm marble tones cover the floor and walls. Other suites are even more striking, covered from head to toe in a flora wallpaper and bright, colorful custom furniture. Inside one of the bold bedrooms. Auberge Collection Those larger accommodations will be home to both living and dining areas for even more comfort during your stay, meant to evoke the feeling of your own personal abode. The Manse, for example, is the most spacious suite on offer, complete with a private gym space, a wellness room, a bar, and a media room. The Promenade, the Manse’s 2,100-square-foot sibling is also home to an indoor bar, as well as a large living room and many a lounge and dining area. For even longer-term stays, the Knox has both two- and three-bedroom apartments, known as Abbott House, Hester House, and Hyland House, that focus on indoor-outdoor living, complete with a kitchen, with all the white-glove service of a hotel. You’ll also find 48 private residences at the new spot, designed by Chad Dorsey Design. A bright living room. Auberge Collection Elsewhere, the Knox will have a signature restaurant serving up classic American dishes, as well as an indoor and outdoor salon that’s an ode to European dining. Rounding out the culinary offerings are an evening lounge that channels a speakeasy and poolside dining overlooking Dallas’s skyline. Other amenities include a Wellbeing by Auberge program, complete with thermal rituals, skin therapies, and more luxe treatments rooted in a holistic approach to health and longevity. The hotelier is also aiming to have the Knox be a prime event space, whether it be for weddings, meetings, or other fêtes, via a series of spacious rooms. The bathroom. Auberge Collection “Inspired by the energy, character, and culture of the city, the Knox was designed to be more than a hotel. It will be a gathering place where exceptional dining, thoughtful well-being, inspired design, and extraordinary hospitality come together,” Rick Fidel, regional VP and GM of the new hotel, said in a press statement. “We look forward to becoming part of the neighborhood’s fabric and community while creating unforgettable experiences for both visitors and locals.” Green and warm orange hues dominate the color palette at the Knox.
