Getting a new Assassin's Creed project out of the gates while fans are still passionate about your latest release is a smart move. With Assassin's Creed Hexe being Ubisoft's most exciting prospect since perhaps Black Flag, it would stand to reason that they'd want to release it while they're still winning, right? Well, according to NatetheHate, a fairly reliable leaker, Assassin's Creed Hexe might not be just around the corner like we expected. The witch-infused next installment in the franchise might actually be a lot further away than we first imagined. Players who have explored every inch of Tortuga and are keen for the next Assassin's Creed adventure might have to make do with remakes for the foreseeable future. If Nate is to be believed, we're all in for a much longer wait for Assassin's Creed Hexe than expected. Salem stealth and sorcery is still far away! When Is Assassin's Creed Hexe Going To Launch? When asked on X when Assassin's Creed Hexe will launch, Nate replied with 'Game won't launch until the second half of 2027, at the earliest. They don't need to rush a reveal/announcement'. This is quite worrying, as it would seem we still have over a year to wait for a new installment in the franchise. With Ubisoft's recent redundancies and more hit-than-miss game launches, this seems like a poor decision if true. However, it does make sense as we've seen nothing official about the game since the announcement. If the game were launching sooner to capitalize on Assassin's Creed Blag Flag Resynced, then we would have at least seen an official release date and an announcement trailer by now. It stands to reason that the lack of marketing and content reveals means that we're in for a long wait for our adventures in Salem. One gamer response on X summed it up perfectly: If Assassin‘s Creed Hexe will be released in second half of 2027, the reveal will happen March or April 2027, I think. While another fan is hopeful that the success of Assassin's Creed Blag Flag Resynced will lead to a popular franchise revival: Now that Black flag remake is a big success for Ubisoft. The Assassin's Creed franchise has been hit-and-miss in recent years, but having a witch-themed game in the franchise to look forward to is definitely a positive. With only a first look at Assassin's Creed Hexe's protagonist to go on so far, we'll have to wait patiently for more official details to emerge. I guess we've all got plenty of time to replay Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced and learn everything there is to know about every historical figure that features in the game.
