AN ARSENAL legend has sold his luxurious mansion to Oasis star Liam Gallagher so his wife can go to university. That fee brought with it a swimming pool, tennis courts, stables and even a separate two-bed cottage. But after 25 years, a change of circumstances helped Adams make the decision to give the place up for a heartwarming reason. Adams’ wife, Poppy Teacher, is pursuing a new passion at university, ushering in a ‘new era’ for the couple. He explained, via the Mail: “This is a new era for us. “We’ve sold the house and are returning to London. My wife is going back to school.” His wife Poppy opened up on the reasoning behind the change of scenery and Adams’ touching reaction – despite his initial confusion. He’s telling everyone I’m doing a PhD, but it’s a masters.” “I’ve brought up the children, but now I need to use my brain again. “Tony and I want to have a London life, do things like go to galleries.” Meanwhile, Gallagher is loving life in the Cotswolds and even revealed that his new neighbours bring him cakes.
