ScreenRant is returning to Portland, Oregon as a media partner for Rose City Comic Con, the three-day celebration of comics, cosplay, anime, gaming, books, celebrities, and all things geek. The event takes place from September 11–13 this year at the Oregon Convention Center. This year promises to be another jam-packed event with something to do for everyone in the family. For 2026, Rose City Comic Con is launching new features to keep the show fresh and exciting for fans. Dave’s Hideaway, named after the show’s sasquatch mascot, is an area of the show designed for the 18-and-up crowd. It features the Cryptid Cantina, sponsored by Portland’s Gigantic Brewing and Portland Cider Co, Tattoo Trail for those looking for a permanent souvenir from the con, and the Keep It Weird Stage with live entertainment including standup comedy, game shows, lip sync competitions, and more. There are also live wrestling matches from Roundtable Pro Wrestling. Rose City Comic Con is also teaming up with sister show Romancing Portland to provide a special experience for romance readers, complete with author signings, panels, shopping, and activities. The event caps off with The Amberleaf Masquerade Ball on Saturday night, where fans are transported to a magical kingdom with food and drinks, live entertainment, dancing, and more. Alongside the new features, fans can see returning favorites like Artist Alley, Rose City Jr. for the youngest con-goers, and Destination Cosplay. Rose City Comic Con is also bringing back Creator Pro Track & Retailer Day, which launched last year. The event takes place from September 10-11 and is designed to connect comic retailers, publishers, and distributors.
