2 dead, 1 wounded in Pangasinan gun attack

CALASIAO, Pangasinan — Two male residents of Malasiqui died while a woman was wounded after unidentified gunmen opened fire on them late Saturday afternoon. Local police identified the fatalities, aged 24 and 22, were both single and unemployed. They and the female survivor are residents of Barangay Barang. Article continues after this advertisement Initial investigation showed that the victims were hanging out along the roadside with other community members around 5:30 p.m. when a motorcycle with two riders pulled up in front of them. The back rider alighted, pulled out a handgun, and repeatedly shot the victims.
