The platform's recommendation system helps heaps, since any given Zelda fan can be pointed toward their next adventure at any time. If you're looking for something Zelda-related, odds are you'll find something quickly. Ever since the debut of 2017's Breath of the Wild in particular, we've seen a lot of 3D adventure games featuring light puzzles, combat, and a glider. Even Genshin Impact could fit this bill. On Steam now, you can find another similar game, but this one has multiplayer and other bells and whistles to help it stand out. Grab Some Friends And Dive Into A New World Launching on November 10, 2026, in Early Access, Stormforge is the latest title from studio Roboto Games, and it aims to mix a variety of classic adventure games into one massive experience. The idea is that you're battling dark forces powered by the titular storm, and you need to take them out with traditional fantasy weaponry (swords, bows/arrows, magic). Here's what Stormforge is all about (as you can guess, storms are a part of it): "Survive in deadly magical storms filled with key resources but fraught with danger. Harness the storms’ power to save the world of Sorana. Stormforge is an open-world survival crafting game for 1 to 8 players. You are Stormforged, with the ability to brave and harness power from magical storms. Explore, fight, forage, craft, build, and defeat bosses in this epic, fantasy game. Survive the Storms and thrive!" You'll explore the world of Sorana in a format similar to Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, complete with a glider for traversal. "Secrets, treasures, and enemies" fill the procedurally generated world, and players can also build structures and craft. Character building is a huge mechanic, with 100 skills to choose from and over 20 abilities, plus classes like Warrior, Ranger, Mage, Forager, and Villager. Once you've crafted your hero, you can join up to seven other players, including team powers. Mods are a major part of how the developers intend to keep players busy long-term, since you can add mods to existing playthroughs without separate external downloads or tools. On paper, all of that sounds great for an ostensibly complex multiplayer romp. Try Out Stormforged Now For Free If any of this sounds remotely fun, you can try out Stormforge on Steam now for free. The demo has "mostly positive" ratings since it arrived, and you'll gain access to the first two biomes (Forest, Meadow), as well as a single boss fight, three character classes, and two build modes (stone and wood). It's a decent chunk of content to get through before the actual game even arrives. On Steam, the Stormforged demo will include 24 square kilometers of procedurally generated land to explore, like the main game. That's plenty of real estate to find out whether this game is for you. Once November hits, you can also check out more user reviews, since many prospective players are wondering how well the multiplayer element will shake out.
