Zee Studios Sets Release Date For Omung Kumar’s ‘Silaa’

EXCLUSIVE: Omung Kumar‘s ‘Silaa‘, starring Harshvardhan Rane, will release early next year. Zee Studios has set a launch date of February 5, 2027, on the film, which stars Rane and Sadia Khateeb in a story billed as bringing together “intense romance, gripping mystery and high-octane action” set against the landscapes of Kashmir and Vietnam. The storyline has broadly been kept secret, but it is known to center on the intense relationship between Virat (Rane) and Silaa (Khateeb) that takes a tragic and violent turn. You can see the first posters for the movie above. “Silaa has been one of the most challenging and exciting journeys for me as an actor,” said Rane in a statement to Deadline. “There is so much more to Virat than what meets the eye; he is a man driven by love, but when circumstances take an unexpected turn, he is pushed into a world where survival becomes just as important as finding the person he loves.” Watch on Deadline Kumar is directing the film, and produces alongside Himanshu Tiwari, Ajay Singh, Dhananjay Singh and Vanita Garud Kumar.
