Yash labels Toxic an adults-only film, asks children to stay away

Actor Yash has made it clear that his upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is not meant for children. Following the trailer’s glimpse of its intense action, violence, and mature themes, he has advised young viewers to stay away from the film, stressing that its story has been crafted specifically for adults.Speaking on Aap Ki Adalat, the 40-year-old explained that adults are better equipped to decide what they want to watch and take away from a story. He also pointed out that the trailer only offers a glimpse of what Toxic has in store.“Children should not watch this film. They should stay at home. It has not been made for children, and that is very clear. Adults know what is right and wrong. They can choose what they want to see, what they want to learn from the film, and what they don't want to do in life. But the film is very genuine and has a deep story,” he said.Yash also highlighted the film’s tagline, A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, saying it has been part of Toxic from the beginning and serves as a clear indication that the film is aimed at a mature audience. According to him, the tagline itself tells viewers what kind of story they can expect. He further explained that the narrative requires every layer of his character to be explored as the story progresses.
