Actor Yami Gautam Dhar visited Patna Sahib Gurudwara in Patna on October 3, to offer prayers ahead of the release of her upcoming fantasy family entertainer, Nayyi Navelli. The actor received a warm welcome in the city, with dhol beats greeting her as she arrived at Takht Sri Harmandir Patna Sahib to seek blessings.The visit comes at an exciting phase in Yami's career, following her National Award win for Best Actress for Article 370. The recognition marked a significant milestone for the actor, who has continued to take on varied roles across genres.Yami is now set to headline Nayyi Navelli, which promises to blend fantasy, family drama, dark humour and Indian folklore. The trailer introduced her character, Mohini, a picture-perfect bride who arrived at a chaotic household in Meerut. She quickly became everyone's favourite as she cooked and settled into the family, but there appeared to be more to her than met the eye.As the story unfolded, supernatural elements entered the picture, with Indian folklore and dark fantasy becoming central to the narrative. The film also sees Yami in a never-before-seen avatar as a daayan, marking a departure from many of her recent characters. Directed by Balaji Mohan, Nayyi Navelli is written by Himanshu Sharma and Divy Nidhi Sharma. Aanand L Rai and Sharma are producing the film under Colour Yellow, marking the production house's first collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music.Yami was most recently seen in a cameo in Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
