Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect who fled after the assault by touching in Harrogate at around 8.30pm on September 6. He was said to be wearing shorts, a blue/green running jacket and a white baseball cap. North Yorkshire Police have urged anyone with information to make themselves known. A spokesperson for the force said: “We’re appealing for information about a sexual assault by touching that occurred in Harrogate. “It happened at approximately 8.30pm on Sunday 6 September, on The Stray, between Knaresborough Road and Wetherby Road. “The victim was walking on The Stray when an unknown man sexually assaulted her whilst running past her. The suspect has then run off in the direction of Wetherby Road.
