Woman files complaint against Brahmastra actor Saurav Gurjar over marriage promise

A woman has accused actor and wrestler Saurav Gurjar of deceiving and harassing her after promising marriage. (Credit: Instagram/thesauravgurjar)A complaint has been filed against Mahabharat actor and wrestler Saurav Gurjar in Mumbai by a woman who alleged that he deceived and harassed her after promising to marry her.According to the complaint, the woman became acquainted with Gurjar through Instagram in 2021, after which they developed a close relationship over WhatsApp. She alleged that they met in person for the first time on December 25, 2021, and that Gurjar assured her that he would marry her and give her rights equivalent to those of a wife.The woman further alleged that they both lived together while she was in the United States and after she returned to India. She claimed that Gurjar convinced her to quit her job in the US on the promise that they would start a business together.She also alleged that she was unable to focus on her career because of his alleged harassment. According to her complaint, whenever she questioned him about marriage, Gurjar would allegedly block her phone number and distance himself from her. The woman claimed that Gurjar stayed with her from October 2025 to March 2026. She alleged that after they lived together in Hyderabad, he suddenly disappeared without informing her.Based on the complaint, Gachibowli police registered a case and launched an investigation. Police reportedly took Gurjar into custody at Mumbai airport and brought him to Hyderabad for further legal proceedings. He has since been remanded to judicial custody. Meanwhile, Gurjar began his acting career in 2013 with television. He made his debut with Star Plus’ Mahabharat, in which he played Bhim. The show aired from 2013 to 2014.He went on to star in Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman, where he portrayed Ravan and Bali between 2016 and 2017.
