A Twinsburg woman, 38, got into an argument with a 29-year-old Cleveland man and used her Audi vehicle to try and strike him.The woman later admitted what she had done and was arrested for assault. The man was not injured.Domestic violence: Milverton RoadAt 6:25 a.m. Sept. 3, officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Milverton Road to investigate a disturbance. It was learned that a 26-year-old Cleveland man had forced his way into the home of the mother of his 7-year-old daughter and assaulted the woman, 24.The man took the woman’s cell phone without her permission and argued with her prior to the assault. The child was uninjured, while the woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Police arrested the man on charges of domestic violence, burglary, violation of a protection order, and petty theft.Criminal trespassing: Van Aken BoulevardAt 6:35 p.m. Sept. 3, officers were dispatched to the Shaker Heights Library main branch, 16500 Van Aken Blvd., where a Cleveland woman, 61, was refusing to leave after being directed by staff to do so for for violating library policy. Officers arrested the woman for criminal trespassing.Warrant arrest: Chagrin BoulevardAt 4 p.m. Sept. 4, police observed a 19-year-old Cleveland woman shortcut the intersection of Chagrin Boulevard and Warrensville Center Road by driving through the BP gas station parking lot, 20420 Chagrin Blvd.Officers learned that the woman was wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office for possession of dangerous drugs, a felony offense. Criminal trespassing: Milverton RoadAt 3:45 a.m. Sept. 5, police arrested a Cleveland man, 45, who was wanted by Shaker Heights police for burglary.The arrest came after police received information that the man had been breaking into locked Infiniti and Chrysler vehicles while in the 3000 block of Milverton Road. The suspect was riding a bicycle when police spotted him. He attempted to ride away, but was quickly apprehended.Police further charged the man with obstructing official business and criminal trespassing. The collective damages to the two vehicles was estimated at $500. Nothing was reported stolen.Criminal trespassing: Strathavon RoadAt 4:50 a.m. Sept. 5, police arrested a Cleveland man, 45, for criminal trespassing after being alerted of his actions by residents in the 3000 block of Strathavon Road.The residents told officers that the man entered their property without permission and attempted to open the door of a locked SUV.
