White House reporter talks about Trump banning MS Now, Politico, and CNN

Washington Examiner White House reporter Naomi Lim said President Donald Trump’s ban on more media outlets from the White House appeared to be a “shoot from the hip” announcement.“It was actually really lovely to be a part of this press pool,” Lim said on NewsNation’s The Hill Sunday with Chris Stirewalt on Sunday. “We have to keep needling him because the issue is that I don’t think that they actually quite understood what this ban was.”Trump announced on Friday that he was banning CNN, MS Now, and Politico from the White House, calling them “fake news” in a Truth Social post. He alluded that more outlets could be on the chopping block, writing, “Other Fake News Media Outlets to follow.” Lim was in the Oval Office with other reporters trying to get clarification. “I am proud to announce that, effective immediately, I am banning Fake News CNN, MSNOW (who recently changed their name from MSNBC due to lack of viewership and credibility!), and Politico (The recipients of an illegal and ridiculous $8 Million Dollar subscription, an All Time Record, directly from the United States Government, under Crooked Joe Biden, in order to keep them ‘alive.’ Seems like corruption to me!), from the White House as a result of their constant ‘reporting’ FAKE NEWS!” the president wrote. “Media Outlets shouldn’t be able to constantly write or report FICTION and LIES when they’re covering the President of the United States, the Trump Administration, or the United States of America.
