The singer-songwriter, who is currently on tour, mainly resides at a rural compound just outside of Framlingham, the tiny historic town where he was raised.Though he maintains a base close to home, Sheeran has bought real estate around the globe, including an impressive range of investment properties (if you live in London, there is a small chance that he could be the landlord of your home or office building). Below, we explore all of the places where the musician rests his ginger head.Rural English estateFresh off the release of his debut album, Plus, in 2012, Sheeran began assembling his primary residence, a sprawling compound near his hometown of Framlingham in Suffolk, England. According to The Sun, his first purchases there were a $1.2 million farmhouse and the $600,000 16th-century house next door. In 2016, he added on a neighboring four-bedroom farmhouse for $1.25 million; an adjacent $708,000 bungalow was added the following year. Finally, in 2019, Sheeran married his longtime girlfriend, Cherry Seaborn, and the couple bought out the home of another neighbor, who reportedly complained about the compound’s ongoing renovations. In total, the five houses that make up their 16-acre estate cost a reported $5 million.In addition to its numerous houses, the property plays host to a number of unique amenities, including a treehouse, a pond, a chapel, a crypt where Sheeran plans to be buried, and a private pub. It’s unclear if he still owns the bucolic getaway.Notting Hill homeFreshly engaged to Seaborn, Sheeran added a London property to his real estate portfolio in 2018 when he reportedly shelled out about $27 million for an eight-bedroom pad in Notting Hill. Spanning 8,300 square feet, the home has a movie theater, bar, and a swimming pool. In 2019, the residence served as a filming location in the music video for Sheeran’s song “Put It All On Me.” As far as we can tell, Sheeran maintains ownership of the impressive property, and reportedly also owns the two neighboring homes, giving him added privacy. The singer also owns a nearby wine bar, Bertie Blossoms, which he opened in 2019.Kent beach houseSheeran and Seaborn spent $879,000 on a two-bedroom beach house in Kent, England, in July 2022. It’s unclear if the longtime couple maintains ownership of this property.Brooklyn padsIn May 2023, Sheeran returned to the States, renting a $36,000-a-month condo in Brooklyn Heights, New York. It was the year’s most expensive rental in Brooklyn, and the second-highest on record at the time. Located inside the Pierhouse, a celebrity-favorite building in Brooklyn Bridge Park that has drawn the likes of Matt Damon, Amy Schumer, and Kendrick Lamar, the 3,200-square-foot triplex unit had four bedrooms, picture windows, and sprawling terraces with views of Manhattan, the East River, and the Brooklyn Bridge.The musician had relocated to the Big Apple for a copyright infringement trial, which he won. Once the legal proceedings were all wrapped up, it seemed Sheeran would be leaving NYC behind; by January 2024, the luxe, fully furnished unit was relisted for $38,000 a month. Reportedly, Sheeran plans to convert the two houses into one large mansion.“Ed is going to spend a fair amount of time in America for work soon, but his heart is always in Suffolk,” an anonymous source told The Sun in November. “He’s created a gorgeous home for his wife Cherry and their two children, and now he’s creating a beachfront paradise for them.” The source further alleged that plans for the completed project include five or more bedrooms, a “massive family kitchen at the back,” and a spacious great room. “He is going to make sure it’s totally in keeping with the local area and wants it to become their home-from-home by the sea.”The news of Sheeran’s latest real estate acquisition came shortly after headlines announced that the musician was giving up the UK in favor of the USA. “I’m just about to move to America,” he said on a podcast in September 2025. “I’m going on tour there for a while, so I have a family, so I can’t dip in and out—we’re going and settling there.” Sheeran later clarified that the relocation was only temporary. “I'm not moving,” he reportedly said. “I'm going on tour with my family and relocating to the continent I’m touring on.
