Attending events like SCAD TVfest and San Diego Comic-Con over the course of her career, she has been immersed in the world of network, streaming, and cable TV. Prime Video is kicking off fall with a full lineup of new movies and TV shows arriving in October. As usual, the streamer will offer plenty of originals, but the library is also expanding with some classics that are sure to entertain viewers as the temperature starts to drop in the final months of 2026. In fact, Prime Video will soon feature cinematic universes that range from the Indiana Jones world to the James Bond franchise, to name just two. The platform will also embrace spooky season with new entries perfect for Halloween. Just weeks after Prime Video created a mega streaming bundle, the Amazon streaming service is finally bringing back Chris Pratt's The Terminal List after a three-year hiatus. October will also be a good month for some of television's most underrated period dramas, including Poldark, Sanditon, and Miss Scarlet. The new release schedule even includes some Christmas cheer to go along with all the Halloween horror. The month won't be short on romantic comedies on Prime Video, either, and Spaceballs will come on board just in time for the upcoming sequel. Prime Video has enough to offer in October that subscribers should plan on what to prioritize among the films and shows that will become available sooner rather than later.
