Reacher, of course, ultimately discovered that Lila was one of the most terrifying antagonists he’s ever faced because of how little she values human life. Knowing how many lives Lila was willing to sacrifice to impress the people who wanted to buy her chemical weapon made the wait for the showdown between her and Reacher even more satisfying. In the Reacher season 4 finale, John Sampson dies a hero after stopping Lila and Amisha’s bioweapon from killing everyone at his fundraiser; as such, Reacher and his friends figured out that the two villains were not done with trying to test their weapon of mass destruction. The final confrontation takes place at the abandoned restaurant where Lila and Amisha have been producing the toxin. Reacher, Tamara, and Jacob storm the building after realizing that the Hoths have returned there to continue their operation. Reacher has, of course, proven time and again that he can throw down, but even his fighting skills were stretched to their limits when it came to facing the two trained killers. As the two-against-one fight progressed, Reacher was bleeding and unable to hold his own until he finally got the upper hand against Amisha, whom he threw out the window. Lila, at this point, knew that the best way to win was to use her bioweapon, but before she could do so, Reacher overpowered her and injected her with the toxin that was meant to make her rich beyond her wildest dreams.
