What is USDC, and who are Chelsea’s new front-of-shirt sponsors Circle? Chelsea’s new front-of-shirt sponsor Circle have put their cryptocurency USDC on the front of the Chelsea shirts. USDC is a digital stablecoin, designed to maintain a 1:1 value with the US dollar, operating as a bridge between banking systems and digital assets. Circle Internet Group is a global financial technology company, and they are best known for issuing the USDC. They become the fourth company to sponsor the front of Chelsea’s shirts since 2023, with Infinite Athlete, DAMAC and IFS all sponsoring Chelsea in recent years. Most read in Sport The Blues have not had a front-of-shirt deal run for longer than a season since they were sponsored by phone company Three between 2020 and 2023.
