A Palestinian youth suffered injury to the head due to a live-fire shrapnel during a raid by the Israeli military in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported. Wafa said that a large contingent of Israeli forces stormed the central Tulkarm area on Thursday evening, detaining several young men and taking them away with their hands tied after questioning them. Israeli forces also deployed heavily across the city’s eastern and western neighbourhoods, firing stun grenades and tear gas, while a surveillance drone flew overhead, the news agency added. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its crews treated the wounded youth and that his condition was stable. * Israeli settlers pelted Palestinian vehicles with stones on Thursday night near the Atara military checkpoint, east of the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah. * Wafa reported that Israeli settlers on Thursday stole a Palestinian farmer’s tractor and olive harvest in the al-Masoudiya area of Burqa village, northwest of Nablus, citing Dhiab Hajji, head of the al-Masoudiya Land Defense Committee.
