Vietnamese police arrest 12 suspected of prowling city streets at night, snatching cats for meat

Vietnamese authorities have apprehended a group of 12 individuals suspected of operating a nocturnal cat-stealing ring in the city. These suspects allegedly rode motorcycles through neighborhoods to capture up to 10 cats nightly, likely for the illegal meat trade. This disturbing activity highlights a troubling aspect of urban crime and raises questions about animal welfare enforcement. The arrests underscore the need for stronger protections for pets and the importance of community vigilance against such criminal activities.
