US ships in Indian Ocean will be hit if another war breaks out, IRGC says

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned it will attack US warships, even those in the Indian Ocean, if Washington launches a new war against Iran, Iranian media reported. “If Trump considers the Strait of Hormuz his strait, then why aren’t his ships and vessels here?” Ali Mohammadi, the IRGC Navy’s deputy for political affairs, said, according to the Fars news agency. On Saturday, Trump posted an image on his Truth Social platform showing the Strait of Hormuz circled and labelled “Trump Strait”, hours after Iran said it had presented a seven-day plan to reopen the strategic waterway. Mohammadi said the US “should just bring one of its ships close to this area” if it claims to control the waterway. “If another war breaks out, we will undoubtedly attack and hit their ships and destroyers even in the Indian Ocean,” he warned.
