US Central Command spokesperson Captain Tim Hawkins said that the US maintains “positive control of all of our operational drone assets”, describing the IRGC claim as “clearly desperate”. Earlier, the IRGC Navy said it had seized an “advanced submersible” identified as a Remus 600 and that the vessel was “now in the hands of the force’s specialists to retrieve its information”.
