The incident took place near the Raja Ki Haveli hotel on NH-9.The celebrations, however, were not limited to the cake-cutting. Other videos from the gathering showed the group allegedly performing dangerous stunts on the highway, with people leaning out of the windows of a moving car and a motorcycle being used for stunts on the road.Watch the video here: After the clip circulated on social media, Babugarh police arrested eight people, including the district president of the Hindu Raksha Dal. The police also seized the car and motorcycle used in the incident.Hapur Superintendent of Police said the police had taken cognisance of the video that surfaced on October 29, and acted against those involved. He confirmed that the eight youths had been arrested and that legal action was being initiated. Videos also emerged showing the accused at the police station with their hands folded. The incident raised concerns over dangerous stunts and disregard for traffic rules on public roads, where such behaviour could put other motorists and pedestrians at risk.- Ends
