In a video shared on Instagram, the man who goes by @liveAkhand, questioned the idea that moving to a metropolitan city automatically means living a better life. Standing amid Noida’s towering residential buildings, he garnered attention to what he saw as a sharp contrast in the way people live in the two places.He began with Banda, where, he said, people can buy relatively small plots and build their own independent homes. The situation, he suggested, looks very different in Noida, where residents often pay hefty amounts for compact flats. The man used a 2BHK as an example, pointing out that having two bedrooms does not necessarily mean having plenty of space. In many cases, he said, the rooms are tiny and residents have to adjust to limited living areas despite paying high rents.The comparison then moved from space to money. The content creator said Noida certainly has an advantage when it comes to employment, with the city offering opportunities that attract people from smaller towns and cities. But he questioned how much of that advantage remains when a significant part, or even an entire salary, goes towards housing. He cited the example of someone earning Rs 25,000 a month and spending the same amount on rent.
