Unidentified persons fire at actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai's Juhu; actor safe

An incident of firing took place on actor Tiger ShroffMUMBAI: Unidentified persons fired at actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening, though he escaped unhurt, police said.The incident took place near Pushpa Park under Juhu police station limits in the western suburb. The sequence of events leading to the firing is being pieced together, an official said."Shroff is safe and has not sustained any injuries in the firing incident," the official reiterated.As per preliminary reports, three to four rounds were fired at Shroff’s car as he was leaving a ground in his vehicle. A large crowd had gathered to see him, and several rounds were fired at his car from within the crowd, according to Mumbai Police. Shroff was not hit by any bullets.Shroff and his driver were taken to Nanavati Hospital in Juhu for treatment. His driver is suspected to have sustained a bullet injury to his left hand, though this is yet to be confirmed by police.The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the firing incident involving Tiger Shroff in Mumbai.A massive manhunt has been launched to nab those involved. Specialised teams are examining CCTV footage from the area to gather leads, the official added.Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis called the Mumbai Police Commissioner to inquire about the firing incident involving actor Tiger Shroff. He instructed the Police Commissioner to conduct a swift investigation and take strict action against those responsible, CMO sources said.Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff was last seen in A Harsha's 'Baaghi 4', which also starred Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa and Harnaaz Sandhu.
