UNC Asheville has named Health Sciences chair Aubri Rote as the first permanent director of its NC Center for Health & Wellness since 2023, following a one-week search conducted in February. Emma Olson, the interim director and a named defendant in a whistleblower suit alleging research misconduct at the center, moved to associate director.
