UKRAINE has launched a massive revenge blitz on a key Russian ammo store days after Vladimir Putin’s forces killed dozens in horror strikes on Kyiv. Ukraine is still reeling after 38 people, including four children, were killed by a Russian drone strike that targeted a Ukrainian weapons depot on Friday. The attack was the second to hit a munitions depot near Kyiv in recent months, prompting renewed anger. “The scale of the contamination of the area is significant,” Zelensky said. An inferno was seen at the facility — the latest to be hit in a campaign of Ukrainian strikes sparking acute petrol and diesel shortages across Russia. Zelensky vowed further vengeance for all Russian strikes. “Attacks are happening around the clock on frontline and border communities,” he said. “We are seeking just responses to every Russian attack and crime. They will definitely be delivered.” The tit-for-tat strikes come days after CIA Director John Ratcliffe visited Moscow to “convince” the Russian dictator to enter tripartite talks to end the war. The spy boss met with FSB security service chief General Alexander Bortnikov – identified by the US as “a constructive player who could help restart diplomatic efforts”, Axios reports.
