Two Jasper cops nicked for stealing guns
Arkansas State Police sent a press release Monday about the arrests of a Jasper Police officer and a Newton County Sheriff’s Office detective accused of stealing guns. Jasper Police officer Mikel Blocker and Newton County deputy Aaron Carter were arrested Friday, charged with theft of a firearm and booked into the Newton County Detention Center. Neither men remained on the Newton County Jail roster Monday.
