Trump scolds world leaders face-to-face in explosive speech at the UN saying only HE 'acted' to confront Iran threat

Speaking to world leaders assembled in Manhattan for the UN General Assembly meeting, President Donald Trump ripped into the crowd with a fiery speech condemning them for making the US wage its Iran war alone. From behind the iconic UN lectern, the 80-year-old president described how he has wielded his power to reshape the globe to America's benefit, and he argued that his foreign escapades from Iran to Venezuela have improved global security. 'While others have talked, I have acted. While others have spoken of peace, I have made it. While others have ignored threats, I have confronted them. While others have talked of courage, America has shown it. While others have promised strength, I have used it to make America the most powerful country in the world.'Directly to their faces, the US president accused leaders of nations across the globe of inaction and complacency in the face of global turmoil, most notably Iran. He accused the 'fanatical' Iranian regime of slaughtering over 72,000 of its own citizens this year, alleging 10,000 were recently killed for protesting.'For 51 years, the fanatical Iranian regime has ruled by bloodshed and mass murder, spreading death and carnage and chaos across the entire Middle East and beyond. Sitting in attendance were many of the closest US allies including, French President Emmanuel Macron, UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Trump's most recent trade war target Canadian PM Mark Carney. Trump called on the UN to stand united against Iran, promising that global oil prices would come plummeting down if they do.Brent crude, the global oil benchmark, dropped to $98 per barrel on Tuesday, a steep drop from $109 a week ago. In the US, diesel fuel prices have been at all time highs and a gallon of regular gasoline fetches $4.48. To help lower energy prices, the president shared his plans to bring more Venezuelan and US oil to global markets.'When we have the United States and Venezuela together, we have more than 60 percent of the oil in the world,' Trump said.'To the victor goes the spoils,' the president, added, remarking on America's newfound influence over the Venezuelan energy market following Trump's operation to topple former dictator Nicolas Maduro. Turning his attention to the Western Hemisphere, Trump warned again that 'failed state' Cuba will soon fall and taste freedom from its long-running dictatorship. Closer to home, the Republican lauded his government's efforts to take on Mexican and international drug cartels that have expanded rapidly in recent decades.'The cartels are the ISIS of the Western hemisphere, not good people.' He also casted doubt on the US relationship with Mexico over the violent drug rings that are notorious for shepherding drugs across the border. 'Unfortunately, it's unacceptable for the United States to share a 2,000-mile border with a territory controlled by enemy cartels. So Mexico must reclaim control of its soil from the enemies of humanity.' The president also touched on the recent 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel, adding that solving the Israel-Gaza conflict has also been a shining moment of his administration.
