Trump proposes Camp David-style presidential retreat at his private Florida golf club

President Trump plans to transform one of his Florida golf courses into a presidential retreat akin to Camp David, aiming to provide future presidents with a quiet weekend getaway. This initiative underscores his ongoing efforts to leave a lasting legacy beyond his presidency, though critics argue it's a vanity project that could face significant financial and logistical hurdles. The proposal also highlights the broader trend of presidents seeking personal retreats for relaxation and strategic planning, raising questions about the balance between personal interests and presidential duties.
