European Union spokesman Anouar el Anouni recently demanded that the United States lift its visa ban on Palestinian Authority Dictator Mahmoud Abbas and allow him to address the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). As usual, this is just another empty gesture of European virtue-signaling, considering that Abbas will bypass the restriction and spew his propaganda via Zoom anyway, thanks to a shameful 152–3 United Nations vote that handed him the digital floor.Yet perplexingly, the very U.S. State Department that rightly barred that terrorism-funding, crystal-jaw, decrepit autocrat simultaneously rolled out the red carpet for Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian amid an active proxy war. By letting a European bureaucrat wave the 1947 Headquarters Agreement like a leash and confusing the public with a duplicitous narrative around the Mullah’s bloody regime, Washington has surrendered its sovereignty — allowing Turtle Bay to weaponize American soil for Western self-flagellation. Aggressors consistently thrive under this perverse diplomatic architecture. That is why authoritarian regimes treat Manhattan as a free diplomatic commons while exploiting the U.S. military as a global courtesy shuttle. Meanwhile, American taxpayers shoulder 22% of the U.N. regular budget — approximately $821 million this cycle — even as Washington carries a staggering $4.2 billion debt across regular and peacekeeping accounts. This financial exploitation exposes the total moral bankruptcy of an “institution” defined by staggering double standards. For example, the UNGA recently passed 15 resolutions targeting democratic Western Israel, compared to a combined zero for authoritarian China, war-torn Sudan, or the terrorists of Hamas. But this is nothing new: since 2006, the UN Human Rights Council has adopted 112 resolutions against Israel while completely ignoring Cuba’s and Nicaragua’s crises or Azerbaijan’s ethnic cleansing of Artsakh. Similarly, two resolutions explicitly targeted the U.S., aggressively condemning America’s foreign policy while coddling global tyrants. Whether wasting $100 million annually on biased “Item 7” special rapporteurs or condemning Jerusalem on command, radical leftist Secretary-General António Guterres and his woke institution remain predictably silent on real global atrocities. History is clear: U.N. peacekeepers perpetuate conflict rather than prevent war. Secretary-General U Thant exposed this fatal flaw on May 18, 1967. When Egypt demanded the immediate withdrawal of the United Nations Emergency Force from Sinai and Gaza, Thant capitulated within hours, bypassing both Israel and the UNGA. Blue helmets lowered their flag the next day, Gamal Abdel Nasser blocked the Straits of Tiran, and full-scale war erupted weeks later. The vital strategic buffer vanished simply because a hostile aggressor in Cairo asked for it. Decades later, UN peacekeepers stood idle during the Rwandan genocide, just as UNIFIL forces today watch Hezbollah stock missiles — while doing nothing to neutralize this — along the Israeli border.FIRST, THEY CLEANSED THE LAND. NOW THEY’RE LAUGHING AT THE HISTORYIndeed, the so-called “international organizations” that surrender to aggressors possess no legitimate claim to American territory or financial support. Hence, Congress must end the 1947 Headquarters Agreement on one year’s notice, evict the Secretariat from New York, and cancel all assessed contributions. In tandem, future American funding must flow exclusively through a Western Security Escrow to restrict disbursements to specific humanitarian tasks, requiring joint certification from the Secretary of State and congressional defense committees. Any U.N. organ maintaining an anti-America/Israel agenda or seating hostile regimes must face an automatic funding cutoff. Concurrently, Washington should establish a new Abraham-Atlantic Directorate based in Abu Dhabi and Tampa to manage regional ceasefires, reconstruction tenders, and maritime security patrols, while treating UNGA resolutions as non-binding folklore. These decisive maneuvers will reclaim American sovereignty, bankrupt a kleptocratic political machine, and force an anti-Western majority to fund their own theatrical performances. The time has come for President Donald Trump to teach the global grifters of Manhattan’s diplomatic corridor that American tolerance has a bottom line.
