Trump has shown that Democrats have been lying for years about noncitizens voting in elections

For years, Democrats have consistently denied that illegal immigrants were voting in elections in the United States. Whenever a left-wing legislator discussed the topic of illegal immigrants voting in the nation’s elections, such concerns were always arrogantly dismissed. Those expressing regular concerns or insisting it was happening were often mocked, ridiculed, and branded as delusional conspiracy theorists. As such, since illegal immigrants voting in elections “never happens,” Democrats have repeatedly said there is no need for voter identification laws. However, the thing that Democrats say never happens happened again — again. A “Mexican alien” was arrested after an investigation discovered he had voted in past elections. Homeland Security Investigations arrested Ludwig Uriel Espejo-Carrillo and “administratively charged him with unlawful voting and false claim to U.S. citizenship.” Espejo-Carrillo became a lawful permanent resident in 2013 and voted illegally in an election as far back as 2015, according to the Department of Homeland Security. And federal law stipulates that “non-citizens, including permanent legal residents, cannot vote in federal, state, and most local elections.” Recommended Stories Holding illegal voters accountable, ensuring voter integrity, and upholding election security are the bare necessities that any administration should promise to its citizens regarding elections. Yet, it wasn’t until the election of President Donald Trump and the efforts of his administration that consistent, dedicated action was regularly taken to remedy such situations. He was the only president who had the courage to address the issue and allocate the necessary resources to try to eradicate it. The Trump administration reinforced its commitment to keeping the voting populace of U.S. elections to the nation’s citizens. The White House also told the Washington Examiner that any noncitizen caught voting in U.S. elections will face the swift hand of justice and be held accountable.“Our message to aliens who vote in American elections is clear: we will find you, arrest you, and you will face the consequences, including deportation,” Lauren Bis, White House spokeswoman, told the Washington Examiner about Espejo-Carrillo’s case. “Only Americans should be electing American leaders.”Furthermore, this means that, at the bare minimum, the thing that Democrats say “never happens” has been happening for at least a decade. Other data has shown that it’s been occurring for much, much longer. We cannot and will not allow the votes of American citizens to be canceled out by non-citizens illegally voting in our elections.”Espejo-Carrillo is being held responsible and will be deported for his crimes, Mullin said. However, who or what will bring accountability to Democrats who have peddled the lie that illegal immigrants and noncitizens have not been voting in U.S. elections? Espejo-Carrillo is only the most recent example of such wrongdoing. These illegal acts have been either covered up by Democrats, investigated with little enthusiasm by Democrats, or altogether ignored.Without Trump, it is unlikely that anything would have ever been done about noncitizens voting in elections.
