This is not on the NHS. 'I'm at the London Spine Hospital in Harley Street, and the same surgeon who did the operation 12 years ago, Dr. Akmal, has done it again and he's bl**dy brilliant! 'I just want to give a shout out to him. He shows you everything on the MRI. He explains 'this is why you got it', 'this is the nerve doing this'.'And it's just, I love somebody who takes the time to explain to you what's going on inside your body. So it's just a shout out, and I'm going to go home in a minute because I don't like staying.' Her health woes come after last month it was revealed that Trinny and Susannah Constantine could be back on our TV screens with a reboot of their 'extreme' fashion makeover show, What Not To Wear. The programme was launched by the BBC in 2001 and ran for five series to 2005, with contestants getting a £2,000 budget to rebuild their wardrobe with the help of their ruthless hosts. In an interview in October, Trinny revealed they were in conversations with producers about the prospect of bringing the show back. The presenter told Lorraine Kelly on Saga's Experience is Everything podcast: 'We were, interestingly, recently asked to do it again… and it's a conversation that's sort of slightly still happening. (seen in June this year) Her health woes come after last month it was revealed that Trinny and Susannah Constantine could be back on TV with a reboot of their fashion makeover show, What Not To Wear 'When we both initially got this approach, we sort of thought, 'Well, Susannah's writing her third book and I'm running Trinny London and I hire 300 people and I'm the CEO,' so it's a full-time job. And initially I thought, 'No way', but it was very nice of the people who came to see us.'So, then we just had a meeting with them and they had made the whole of their younger team watch all of the old What Not To Wears and they loved it. And I was surprised.'We did things that were very extreme. We would get a husband saying, 'Yes, do put a camera in my wife's dressing room so we can see how she dresses'. We were very honest and that sort of honesty has gone because people are too scared.'So, they're very persuasive… and that's where they're at. It's interesting. If something's presented to you it's much easier to shut down things off straight away. I made a decision last year to not say no so much. 'I thought let me just be open to things because things lead to things and I think things are put in front of us for reasons.'We need to think: 'What is the reason that opportunity is sitting there? What is that reason and what could it bring?'. The hosts were notorious for stripping participants down to their underwear in front of a 360-degree mirror and offering stinging critiques of their bodies and self-image.The two women would often snipe at each other's supposed physical shortcomings -Susannah's 'chicken arms' or Trinny's 'flat chest', but also at the guests who came to them for a new wardrobe. But at its peak, the show was watched by seven million viewers, who loved the straight-talking duo. After What Not To Wear was axed by the BBC, the duo moved to ITV with Trinny & Susannah... Undress. Trinny went on to launch her makeup and skincare brand, Trinny London, in 2017. It has grown from a kitchen table startup to a global beauty empire, now valued at £180million. Susannah, meanwhile, has turned her attention to writing novels.
