TOWIE’s Bobby Norris reveals shock health diagnosis and demands help from the prime minister

TOWIE star Bobby Norris has revealed his bombshell health diagnosis as he demanded help from the Prime Minister. The 39-year-old has launched a petition for a review into the NHS PTSD diagnosis and treatment pathways after struggling with his own mental health. He told how some people still claim “mental health doesn’t exist” but he confessed that it doesn’t get “more serious than PTSD.” Sign up for the TV newsletter Thank you! Reality star Bobby explained that some people are “waiting for years” without the right diagnosis, support or specialist treatment and begged the Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, to step in. He then revealed he’d also sent him a letter, demanding change to how the process works as people should not be “expected to live with it [PTSD].” Read more on Bobby Norris The TV personality even asked to come down to Number 10 to discuss a partnership as he shared his plea. Bobby described PTSD as “debilitating” and “unbearable” as he admitted for some it can seriously effect “day to day life.” Taking to Instagram he shared screenshots of his petition, the letter and a slew of facts on the mental health problem. He captioned the post: “Some people still claim ‘Mental Health doesn’t exist.’ Most read in TV “Not only does Mental Health exist – it matters, and it doesn’t get much more serious than PTSD. “Too many people are left for years without the right diagnosis, support or specialist treatment, often reaching crisis point before anyone steps in. That simply isn’t good enough.” Bobby continued: “I’ve also written directly to the Prime Minister to ask for meaningful action, and I’m now asking @andy.burnham and Yvette Cooper to meet with me to discuss my campaign and how we can work together to improve PTSD care and, ultimately, help save lives. “This is bigger than one person. PTSD can affect anyone – and behind every statistic is a person, a family and a life. “Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper — please meet with me. Let’s have the conversation, listen to those affected and see what we can do to drive meaningful change.” One fan wrote: “Thank you Bobby for raising this awareness.” “I have suffered from PTSD for the last 12 years. Was only diagnosed after I had therapy. Please sign the petition,” penned another fan. A third person said: “Something does need to be done for PTSD, C-PTSD.
