Rather than being a contestant, the 27-year-old was one of the professional mentors on the cooking competition, which kicked off earlier this month. During the latest episode this week, Sam stepped in to help comedian Seann Walsh prep his fish curry dish, in the hopes of staving off elimination. Sam, who has previously described himself as a ‘nepo-bro’, stepped into the kitchen and introduced himself, saying: ‘I am a chef and a content creator with over a million followers. ‘Over the years I’ve cooked for some high-profile celebs, such as Tom Holland and Zendaya and they do happen to be my brother and my lovely sister-in-law,’ he added, after the couple secretly tied the knot earlier this year. Meanwhile, Walsh joked: ‘I’ve got Spider-Man’s brother guiding me through cooking, what could possibly go wrong?’ Sam Holland stepped in to help comedian Seann Walsh (Picture: Nicky Johnston/Shutterstock) The chef has also lent his cooking skills to This Morning (Picture: Ken McKay/ITV/Shutterstock) However, tough luck for the comedian, as he was indeed eliminated from the competition on Monday, while Strictly Come Dancing alum Karen Hauer (who was helped by a Michelin-starred chef) progressed to the next round. Sam shared the details of his appearance to his Instagram, where his followers shared their excitement to see him on the small screen, with Luchia Murphy commenting: ‘WOOOO!!! Redownloading ITV to stream this halfway across the world.’ ‘We know who we will be watching tonight,’ wrote Sara Snadden, while Ellie Evelyn added: ‘Yess can’t wait to watch!!’ Sam is one of four Holland brothers, including his twin, Harry, and their youngest brother Paddy. The Spider-Man star recently spoke about his brother’s cooking ability, praising him for developing vegetarian recipes he can make at home with Zendaya, who does not eat meat. He said on the Dish podcast: ‘He’s a good cook, Sam, but he’s very strict as well. I think it was my mum and dad’s wedding anniversary; he cooked this amazing dinner. ‘And then he had us come in and help serve and he was quite rude. It was like being in a real kitchen. We had stations, I was doing this and his fiancée was doing that and it was very regimented.’ Deals of the Day This Hoover vacuum is a game-changer for pet owners and muddy homes See London's Christmas lights from an open-top double-decker bus this winter The skincare formula that finally took the guesswork out of my routine Families can save up to 20% on summer 2027 holidays in Club Med's four-day sale Cold mornings are coming and this is the dressing gown I want to live in Tom then went back on his prior statement, adding: ‘He wasn’t rude; he just was passionate.
