The film tells the true story of Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary (played by Genden Phuntsok and Hiddleston, respectively), two mountaineers who climbed Mount Everest together in 1953. Willem Dafoe, Caitríona Balfe and Thinley Lhamo also star in Tenzing, which was directed by Jennifer Peedom and written by Luke Davies. With exactly one month until Tenzing is released on Apple TV, the streaming service released the trailer for the adventure film, giving moviegoers a taste of what to expect from the intense drama.
