The concept may sound straightforward, as you must redirect light beams to unlock a sealed door and elevator platform, but finding the right order and the correct angles is tricky. Here's how to solve the lens puzzle at the end of Chapter 3, "Those Before Us," in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. How to solve the Chapter 3 lens puzzle in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy After reaching the mountains and entering the large palace near the end of Chapter 3, "Those Before Us," you'll come across two lens puzzles. The first serves mainly as a tutorial on how to use lenses. See the two golden disks adjacent to the sealed doorway? Interact with the lens opposite each golden disk and rotate it until its light beam connects to the nearest disk. Once both light beams are aimed at a golden disk, as shown in the picture below, the door will open. To solve it, you must redirect the light beams to reveal three minotaur paintings. To get started, interact with the gilded pillar at the heart of the room. Now, with your back to the doorway you came through, grab the first lens on your right and aim it at the golden disk on the opposite side of the room, slightly to the right. Now, grab the lens on the opposite side of the room, left of the minotaur painting. Aim it at the lens you just used. Walk back to the previous lens, and rotate it to the left, where it should hit a third lens (on the other side of the open door). Grab this lens as well, and aim it at the nearest golden disk.
