‘There’s a BABY on the field!’ – Adorable moment toddler runs on pitch during MLS clash

THIS is the brilliant moment a football match was stopped after a BABY ran onto the pitch. And the adorable moment was quickly dealt with as a smiling kid was picked up by security and hurried back to the stands. Sign up for the Football newsletter Thank you! A young girl – potentially the baby’s sister – hurried over to take them back to safety. Then a lady – presumably the mother – took control and stood open mouthed. With Minnesota already 5-1 up and cruising to victory, it was merely a light-hearted finish to the game. And it immediately brought memories back of a fixture in May 2024 which was delayed due to a racoon – widely dubbed Raquinho – entering the field. One commentator at the 18,000-capacity PayPal Park said: “That’s way better than the racoon.” Then she questioned: “How did they make it all the way over there. And they added: “baby > raccoon”. Manager Cameron Knowles was asked about the incident and cracked up as he responded: “You could hear the noise and then you’re looking to see what it is. “I thought, man, it’s a little too early to get a lifetime ban from a stadium.” Comment now
