MangaPlaza is giving manga readers a timely reason to catch up before the fall’s biggest anime adaptations get even deeper into their stories. From October 7 through October 20, the digital manga platform is returning 10% of the points used to unlock eligible chapters and volumes from 28 featured series tied to anime and other adaptations. The promotion, available via MangaPlaza's website, arrives just after MangaPlaza crossed the one-million-member mark in September, following its fourth anniversary earlier this year. That makes the Fall Anime Special especially big, because instead of an overall discount on everything, it targets specific reads connected to this season, giving readers a chance to stock up while watching the shows. The most obvious draw is The Apothecary Diaries, which remains one of MangaPlaza’s biggest adaptation-linked titles. Readers enter Maomao’s imperial-court mysteries through the manga, where her herbal knowledge repeatedly puts her in the path of strange illnesses, dangerous schemes, and Jinshi’s complicated attention. The campaign makes catching up on her investigation-heavy story more rewarding. Tokyo Revengers and Tougen Anki: Legend of the Cursed Blood give the lineup a very different flavor. Tokyo Revengers brings time travel and delinquent warfare, while Tougen Anki centers on a conflict rooted in Oni and Momotaro bloodlines. Both offer readers more source material while their animated stories keep expanding their audiences. The campaign also reaches into established fantasy and science-fiction territory with Magic Knight Rayearth, the CLAMP classic that blends magical-girl adventure, mecha, and alternate-world fantasy. It appears beside newer picks such as Wandance, a dance-focused manga, and A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special, giving the promotion considerably more range than a single genre sale. There Is Something for Almost Every Manga Reader Rom-com and supernatural readers have plenty to browse, too. MangaPlaza includes Rascal Does Not Dream, along with Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, Rascal Does Not Dream of Logical Witch, and Rascal Does Not Dream of Petite Devil Kohai. That grouping is especially useful for readers who want to explore the wider franchise rather than stop with its most recognizable title. The 28-title MangaPlaza roster gets even more eclectic with Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle, The Detective Is Already Dead, Magical Girl Raising Project, Sasaki and Peeps, Tank Chair, and In the Clear Moonlit Dusk. There are also reincarnation and fantasy choices such as Full Clearing Another World Under a Goddess with Zero Believers and As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World. Several of the featured books lean darker or more unusual. Horror Collector adds a horror option, Demons’ Crest brings another supernatural edge, and NIA LISTON: THE MERCILESS MAIDEN stands out among the action-oriented selections. The list even includes Hi, I’m a Witch, and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion, showing that the promotion has picks for everyone. Tank Chair The Apothecary Diaries The Detective Is Already Dead The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World Tokyo Revengers Tougen Anki: Legend of the Cursed Blood Wandance With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess What Readers Need To Know Before Spending Points There is an important catch, because the 10% reward applies when readers unlock eligible chapters or volumes, and each title’s page determines which content qualifies. MangaPlaza also notes that titles currently available through a separate free promotion are excluded. That means readers should check the individual listing before spending points, especially when comparing older and newer entries. The Fall Anime Special runs from 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time on October 7 through 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on October 20, 2026. Points are issued after each qualifying transaction, rather than waiting for the campaign to end, and the earned rewards remain valid through the end of December. With 28 series spanning mystery, action, romance, fantasy, horror, and more, MangaPlaza’s fall promotion is less about buying one blockbuster and more about choosing what deserves a spot in the reading queue. And with more than one million members now on the platform, the latest point-back event gives an already growing digital manga service another strong push into the fall anime season.
