The Witcher universe may have begun back in 1993 with the publication of The Last Wish by author Andrzej Sapkowski, but there is no denying that it kicked off in earnest following the success of 2015's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Going on to meet both commercial and critical success, and still sitting on an 8.6 User Score on Metacritic to this day, it is regarded as one of the greatest video games of all time, and a worthy sequel to its previous installments developed by CD Projekt RED. Now, over a decade on from the launch of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and it seems as though its popularity has far from dwindled. In recent weeks, fans were treated to the launch of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered, a free upgrade for those who already own the original title. Additionally, we know that 2027 will be the year that the third and final DLC for the game will be released, titled Songs of the Past. Add to that the knowledge that The Witcher IV is currently in development and aiming for a 2028 launch, and it is an exciting time to be a Witcher fan. However, that is not all we can look forward to, as The Witcher: No Man’s Land has finally received a release date. The fast-paced miniatures skirmish game set in the world of The Witcher has finally received a launch date just a year after it was first announced. Set to launch in "Fall 2026", the tabletop RPG has been created by Monster Fight Club in collaboration with CD Projekt RED and will launch alongside "highly detailed miniatures" based on some of our favorite The Witcher characters. First announced back in 2025, the launch of The Witcher: No Man’s Land was delayed in order "to add some additional content and refine the product", according to social media and community manager Audrey Jaeger. In a statement released by the company, Jaeger said, "The game now comes with multiple ways to play, with player versus player, player-versus-player-versus environment, co-op play, and solitaire play... We are planning on an explosive preorder campaign with a lot of content". Monster Fight Club has revealed that the first product up for grabs will be a two-player starter set, which includes the following items: Geralt's Warband Geralt of Rivia Resolute Farmer Blacksmith Brazen Sorceress Eager Surgeon Letho's Warband Letho of Gulet Gruff Captain Dutiful Soldier Astute Crossbowman Authoritative Priest Monsters Griffin Striga Other content 22″ by 30″ playmat Scenery Cards, dice, and tokens Rulebook Thanks to a factionless warband creation system, players can choose how they play by mixing and matching teams and luckily, the starter pack instructs you on how to achieve this. Not only that, but the monsters can also be used as you see fit, whether that is "as wandering threats to both warbands, in tailored scenarios, and even as part of semi-cooperative hunts." If this playstyle sounds familiar, it is because it was also used in Monter Fight Club's fellow TTRPG, Cyberpunk RED: Combat Zone. As such, each player will be given color-coded actions, and the better the action is, the larger the dice roll when activating a skill. Whilst a full release date has not yet been announced, you can sign up to the mailing list to be notified on when pre-orders go live. Not only will you receive information before anybody else, but it will also reveal the four expansion packs that will be available on the launch date.
