The Paradise ticket prices hiked in Telangana, South premieres on September 23

Nani’s The Paradise will open with increased ticket prices in Telangana, with the state government approving a hike for the film’s theatrical run. The film will also have premiere shows across the South at 9 pm, while a special show has been scheduled in Telangana on September 23 at 6.30 pm for Rs 500 per ticket.Tickets for the 9 pm premieres have opened at select locations, with the film generating strong anticipation ahead of its September 24 release.As per an order issued by the Telangana Home department, the approved hike will be applicable across theatres in the state. From September 24 to 27, single screens can charge an additional Rs 48, including GST, while multiplexes and special theatres can charge an additional Rs 95. The revised rates will be applicable for five shows a day. According to the government order, the ticket prices for the first four days in the single screens is Rs 225 and for multiplexes it is Rs 390.From September 28 to October 3, the permitted increase will be Rs 23 for single screens and Rs 45 for multiplexes and special theatres, inclusive of GST. From day five till day ten, the single screen ticket prices are said to be Rs 200 and the multiplexes prices are Rs 340. The government has also directed Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, the production house, to contribute Rs 1 lakh to the Telugu Film Industry Employees Welfare Committee. The amount will be used for the welfare of employees and workers in the film industry. Theatre managements have also been instructed to screen advertisements on the adverse effects of narcotics, drugs and cybercrimes. Soon, the Andhra Pradesh government is expected to issue a similar order. Special shows in Chennai, Bengaluru and other cities have been arranged by the makers on September 23. The film's 9 pm premiere shows have been scheduled across the South, with advance bookings opening at a few locations. The early response comes amid considerable anticipation for Nani’s next, which is directed by Srikanth Odela.The Paradise marks Nani and Srikanth Odela’s second collaboration after Dasara. The film is scheduled for a wider release in theatres on September 24. The film stars Nani in the lead, with Kayadu Lohar, Raghav Juyal, Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni and Sampoornesh Babu in key roles.
